Individual Therapy
During individual therapy, my focus is to help you resolve the issues that bring you to counseling. The first step is determining what goal(s) you would like to work on. Once working on your goals, you will feel empowered to move forward with relief in your life, as you gain insight, awareness, and reach your full potential. Some issues that we can address are: Overcoming and coping with depression, anxiety, stress Learning healthy techniques for dealing with anger Improving self-esteem and confidence Developing healthy boundaries Coping with grief, loss, and trauma Gaining social skills Managing mood Gaining parenting skills Maintaining/gaining healthy relationships with dating Coping with life transitions Managing behavioral problems and impulse control Overcoming eating disorders and/or improving body image Resolving family conflicts |
Group Therapy
During group therapy, you will meet with other individuals. Group can help individuals learn, grow, and relate to one another. Through this trusting environment with others, individuals can discuss thoughts, feelings, and ideas with one another, while gaining hope, insight, and inspiration. Groups typically have about 6-10 members. Some groups that may be offered are: Anger Management Mood Management Social Skills Parenting Skills Depression Reduction Grief and Loss Stress Reduction |
